- There are no plans to raise dues.
New Business
- Rotating FAQ to be included in the Newsletter such as lamp posts, heads, and bulbs.
- Discussion on the proposed $4,000 one time payment as the LBHOA contribution to the Tudor Oaks grassed swale and native prairie restoration. This is expected to reduce runoff into our lake from the culvert in the southeast corner of the lake. The Tudor Oaks farm field will no longer be farmed but will be restored to a native upland prairie. It will look like the swale at Bloom Park. In conjunction with Waukesha County Land and Water Conservation and Tudor Oaks, a swale will be constructed along with the farm field restoration. This should greatly reduce runoff from Tudor Oaks into Lake Brittany, with the exception of 10-20 year rain events. The water that does enter the lake from the inlet should be less laden with sediment and nutrients because of the swale and restoration. The Board voted to approve the $4,000 one time payment.
- Proposal for ECC budget increase to repair all access paths to the lake including replacing wooden steps. The current estimated cost for this project is $13,700. It was discussed to do the repairs in sections over the next year or two, however this delay would result in increased costs. It is possible that the ECC will be under budget for 2025 and that money would be applied to the access path repair project.
- The Board has voted to move forward with the path repair project. More details will be provided at the Annual Meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 12:15 pm.
